After a three-year absence, the MLB Field of Dreams game returns to the schedule as the Minnesota Twins and Philadelphia Phillies face off in the Iowa cornfields.
The first Field of Dreams game was a classic, with the Chicago White Sox defeating the New York Yankees on a Tim Anderson walk-off home run. The second, however, was a less exciting affair between the Chicago Cubs and Cincinnati Reds.
This year’s game is different, though, as there have been renovations at the complex in Dyersville, Iowa, in the years since the last game. That should make it possible to host more consistent games at the field, both professional and otherwise.
Both teams come into the game fighting for playoff spots, with the Phillies having a slightly better record than the Twins. The star-studded affair will feature names like Bryce Harper, Kyle Schwarber and Byron Buxton in the spotlight.

9:28 p.m.: Adams gets three quick outs in his second inning of work to get the Twins back up to the plate.
End of fifth inning: Phillies 5, Twins 1
9:22 p.m.: Nola strikes out Royce Lewis to escabe a bases loaded job and retaining the 5-1 lead.
9:17 p.m.: Now the Twins try to get a two-out rally going as Buxton and Ryan Jeffers both get on base. Minnesota is trying to cut this deficit down.
9:07 p.m.: Adams retires Schwarber, stranding the runners.
9:06 p.m.: The Phillies have another rally going with two on and two outs against new Twins pitcher Travis Adams.
End of fourth inning: Phillies 5, Twins 1
8:58 p.m.: Nola works around a baserunner to put up another scoreless inning, keeping Philadelphia’s lead at four.
8:50 p.m.: Bradley finally works out of the inning, avoiding further damage with two men on base.

8:32 p.m.: Nola matches Bradley with a scoreless third frame despite allowing a leadoff single.

7:47 p.m.: Bradley escapes a bases loaded damage as J.T. Realmuto flies out, but not before the Twins starter throws 30 pitches.

Where to watch 2026 MLB Field of Dreams Game

The Field of Dreams game between the Phillies and Twins will take place on Thursday, August 7:30 p.m. ET from Dyersville, Iowa. It is the only game in the window and the only major league game from Iowa this season.
What channel is MLB Field of Dreams Game on?

Netflix secured the rights to the Field of Dreams game this year, marking the first time the game has not been broadcast on traditional television. Previously, Fox had the call on the game in 2021 and 2022, but in the three years since MLB last played in Iowa, Netflix struck a deal with the league to carry the game.
The broadcast will feature many familiar faces, as Matt Vasgersian, Barry Bonds, CC Sabathia, Hunter Pence, Anthony Rizzo, Albert Pujols and Elle Duncan will all be part of the broadcast.
Is MLB Field of Dreams Game free on Netflix?

The MLB Field of Dreams game is not free on Netflix, as viewers will need a Netflix subscription to watch the game. If you are already a Netflix subscriber, though, it will come at no additional cost to watch the game. New subscribers will need to sign up for a monthly plan.
It is one of a handful of baseball events that will only be on a streaming service this season.
