MLB catcher power rankings entering week 13

MLB has completed the first 12 weeks of the 2026 season. Specific players have continued producing great numbers, while a handful are missing time due to injury. Now is the time when player production starts garnering attention for All-Star rosters. Entering Week 13, here are the top ten catchers in the league.

1. Shea Langeliers, Athletics

Langeliers is having another strong season. Entering the week, he leads American League catchers in home runs. He leads the Athletics in home runs and total bases.

2. Drake Baldwin, Atlanta Braves

Baldwin is days away from returning from an oblique injury. Still, the Atlanta catcher has produced top numbers among MLB catchers. He is on his way to an NL All-Star selection.

3. Liam Hicks, Miami Marlins

Hicks is having a tremendous year for Miami. He leads the Marlins in home runs. Entering the week, he is tied for fourth in home runs among MLB catchers.

4. Dillon Dingler, Detroit Tigers

Dingler has been Detroit’s best offensive performer. Entering the week, he leads the team in home runs and RBI. The Tigers catcher ranks third in home runs among MLB catchers.

5. Hunter Goodman, Colorado Rockies

Goodman has caught fire. Entering the week, he leads MLB catchers in home runs. He has been Colorado’s most potent hitter.

6. William Contreras, Milwaukee Brewers

The veteran has provided great offensive production. The Brewers are in first, and their catcher enters the week first in hits among MLB catchers. He hasn’t reached double-digit home runs but has driven in a healthy number of runs.

7. Adley Rutschman, Baltimore Orioles

Rutschman is continuing his bounce-back season. Entering the week, he leads the Orioles in slugging percentage and OPS. He has a strong case to be a member of the upcoming American League All-Star team.

8. Samuel Basallo, Baltimore Orioles

Basallo is having a strong rookie season. He has often displayed his power and will be one of Baltimore’s best hitters soon. Entering the week, he is fifth in home runs among MLB catchers.

9. Carter Jensen, Kansas City Royals

The rookie is producing in his first full Major League season. Entering the week, he is sixth in home runs among MLB catchers. Jensen is set to take over full-time catching duties from veteran Salvador Perez.

10. Ryan Jeffers, Minnesota Twins

Jeffers is battling his way back from hand surgery. He’s a month away from returning to the field but produced strong numbers prior to injury. Entering the week, he leads MLB catchers in OPS.
