Mike Evans leaves MNF with Achilles injury

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Mike Evans (Achilles) left the Week 6 game against the Washington Commanders after suffering an Achilles injury in the second quarter.

Evans entered the game with a questionable tag due to an injury to his Achilles tendon, as well as his ribs. He has been ruled out for the remainder of the game.

Why it Matters: Evans was already banged up coming. He tried stretching out the Achilles, but he was unable to get good results apparently, as he headed for the locker room and did not return. Brandin Cooks and Jordan Watkins are the top two receivers left standing for the 49ers right now, with Christian Kirk (calf) nearing a return.
