Enes Kanter has become a prominent figure in discourse surrounding the WNBA following his decision to declare for next year’s draft.
After Indiana Fever player Sophie Cunningham spoke out about ‘biological males’ competing in the sport, both Kanter and Royce White stated they were going to declare for the WNBA.
Kanter has continued to speak out on his decision to do so, including conducting an interview with America First Policy Institute last week, during which he mentioned Caitlin Clark.

Michael Porter Jr sends laughing emoji in response to Enes Kanter’s Caitlin Clark comments
The former NBA player floated the possibility of being drafted to the Indiana Fever, which is, of course, Clark’s team.
Interviewer Bruce Pearl then suggested that ‘Caitlin’s not passing you the ball’.
Kanter responded by claiming he and Clark ‘will be modern Kobe and Shaq’.
He said: “Listen, me and Caitlin will be modern Kobe and Shaq. I’m telling you.”
Now, Michael Porter Jr has responded to a post about Kanter’s comments on playing with Clark.
As shared by Polymarket Hoops on X/Twitter, Porter took to his Instagram story recently to repost a story about the aforementioned comments.
After reposting, he added a laughing-face emoji and a thinking emoji.
It remains to be seen what will happen between the WNBA and Kanter once the next draft begins in the first half of next year.
