Memphis Grizzlies' Isaiah Stewart heads to locker room after fall vs Hawks

Memphis Grizzlies center Isaiah Stewart left the preseason game against the Atlanta Hawks on Oct. 5 after a hard fall on the floor.

Stewart, who appeared to slip and fall after contesting a shot at the rim, limped off and walked under his own power before heading to the locker room.

The Grizzlies added Stewart in the summer after he spent his first five seasons with the Detroit Pistons. Stewart was acquired to add depth to Memphis’ center rotation.

Projected starting center Zach Edey has been fully cleared for all basketball activities and has been practicing with the team, but he was not available for the preseason opener.
