A new sequel to Mckenna Grace’s massive movie franchise with an extremely devoted following is officially in the works.

On October 28, it was announced that Spin Master Entertainment, Paramount Animation, and Nickelodeon Movies are teaming up to produce Paw Patrol 4, which will be distributed by Paramount Pictures. Work on the sequel comes after the animated family-friendly action franchise recruited Grace to voice one of the it’s most popular characters, Skye.

The announcement confirmed that Cal Brunker will return to the franchise to direct and co-write the sequel. He previously served in the same role on Paw Patrol: The Movie, Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie, and Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie. All three of those films were co-written with Bob Barlen, who is also back to help pen another adventure for the heroic pups that have brought joy to children for years now.
