Real Madrid entertained Real Sociedad at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a good result at home in La Liga. Los Blancos made a decent start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 40th minute when Kylian Mbappe found the back of the net. However, Luka Sucic equalised for the visitors just four minutes later as the two teams went into the half-time break with a 1-1 scoreline.
Jose Mourinho’s men regained their lead at the hour mark when Mbappe struck again. Vinicius Junior put daylight between the two sides in the 68th minute before Mbappe completed his hat-trick in the 80th minute. The contest finished with Real Madrid securing a dominant 4-1 win at the Bernabeu.
Let’s take a look at how each Real Madrid player fared during the clash against Real Sociedad.
GK: Thibaut Courtois – 6.5/10
He made a couple of solid saves at the back, but there was no clean sheet for him.
RB: Denzel Dumfries – 6.5/10
Dumfries earned the ball back twice for his team but offered very little going forward.
CB: Ibrahima Konate – 7/10
He gave a good account of himself on the defensive end of the field.
CB: Dean Huijsen – 7/10
Huijsen made a lot of important clearances at the back and was tidy with his passing.

LB: Alvaro Carreras – 6/10
He came back to defend when he could, but struggled to influence the game in the final third.
CM: Bernardo Silva – 7/10
Silva worked his socks off defensively but lacked quality going forward.
CM: Federico Valverde – 7.5/10
He caught the eye at times on both halves and has got an assist to show for his efforts.
RW: Arda Guler – 7.5/10
Guler was a constant menace in the final third but failed to register a goal.
CAM: Jude Bellingham – 8.5/10
He caused a lot of headaches for his marker and did well to earn a couple of assists.
LW: Vinicius Junior – 8/10
Vinicius Jr. was a real threat on the left wing and ended the game with a goal and an assist to his name.
ST: Kylian Mbappe – 10/10
He bagged a hat-trick tonight and deserved to be named the man of the match.
LB: Marc Cucurella – 6.5/10
Cucurella was solid at the back.
CM: Eduardo Camavinga – 6/10
His impact on the game was minimal.
He made one good chance in the final third.
