Mastantuono taken out of Fiorentina’s game at half-time

Franco Mastantuono’s loan spell at Fiorentina is off to a troubling start. The Argentinian was subbed off at halftime in a 2-1 loss at home to Torino, as Fiorentina remain winless and pointless in Serie A.

Mastantuono has been starting for his new team, but head coach Fabio Grosso will be forced to make some changes after their tough start to the campaign. The Argentinian player hopes to keep getting relevant minutes on a consistent basis throughout the season, but he will need to improve and show his worth if he truly wants to compete for a role in Real Madrid’s first team next year.

Fiorentina have only scored a single goal over their first three games and are currently last in the Serie A table.
