Marvel Studios Officially Confirms Companion Series For VisionQuest Ahead Of Finale
Marvel’s VisionQuest is getting a companion series just in time for the upcoming finale.
VisionQuest is the final chapter in Marvel’s trilogy of shows that began with WandaVision and Agatha All Along. Paul Bettany reprises his Marvel Cinematic Universe role as Vision. After being in hiding, he flees and is joined by a boy who appears to be the reincarnation of his son. James Spader is back as Ultron, this time in human form.
Only one episode of VisionQuest remains, and Marvel Studios has just announced a companion podcast set to release Tuesday, November 10 at 9 p.m. EST / 6 p.m. PST on Disney+, Marvel’s YouTube channel, and podcasting platforms. This is the same time the finale will be released on Disney+, so viewers can watch the final installment and then check out reactions to the series from stars Bettany, Spader, and Ruaridh Mollica, and showrunner Terry Matalas.
The hosts of the VisionQuest Official Podcast are Ms. Marvel‘s Iman Vellani and Frank Alvarez, who also hosted the recent Countdown to Avengers: Doomsday Official Podcast ahead of the Avengers: Endgame Encore theatrical release.
Other cast members on VisionQuest include Todd Stashwick, T’Nia Miller, Lauren Morais, Orla Brady, Diane Morgan, Polly Frame, Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer, Emily Hampshire and James D’Arcy.
Terry Matalas created the series and also wrote and directed some episodes. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige executive-produces with Matalas, Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, Mary Livanos, Jac Schaeffer and Christopher J. Byrne.
When VisionQuest premiered in mid-October, several critics gave it positive reviews, with an 86% on Rotten Tomatoes, compared to 92% and 84% for its predecessors WandaVision and Agatha All Along, respectively.
VisionQuest is the latest in a long line of MCU shows that have been released on Disney+, along with The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, What If…?, Hawkeye, Moon Knight, Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Secret Invasion, Echo, Daredevil: Born Again, Ironheart and Wonder Man.

MCU TV shows have faced some setbacks this year, most notably with the cancellation of Wonder Man after Disney originally gave it a season 2 renewal. Then it was announced that the upcoming Daredevil: Born Again season 3 would be the final installment of the Charlie Cox-led series.
But Marvel’s small-screen slate will continue next year; aside from Daredevil‘s farewell, Disney+ will also release Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man season 2, Marvel Zombies season 2 and X-Men ’97 season 3, all of which are animated shows.
On the big screen, Avengers: Doomsday arrives in theaters on December 18, 2026, followed by Avengers: Secret Wars a year later, and then X-Men, Ghost Rider and Black Panther III in 2028.
In the more immediate future, though, the VisionQuest finale is coming up in a matter of days alongside the just-announced companion podcast, as the cast and crew break down all the twists and turnsfans have been watching in recent weeks.
The VisionQuest finale will be released Tuesday, November 10 at 9 p.m. EST on Disney+.
