Manchester United could be willing to let Leny Yoro leave Old Trafford in 2027 if they receive an acceptable offer, according to a report from Football Insider.
While the 20-year-old might have arrived at the Premier League giants back in the summer of 2024 for a reported fee in the region of £52million, Yoro has struggled to establish himself in the red half of Manchester.
Although the former Lille defender might have received a maiden call-up to France’s senior international squad during September’s extended international break, Yoro has not made consecutive starts for Michael Carrick’s side since way back in January.
Replaced after an hour during United’s last-gasp 1-1 stalemate at home against Tottenham last weekend, the newly-caped French international has also made just a trio of Premier League appearances so far this season.
Despite flattering to deceive since arriving at Old Trafford as one of Europe’s hottest defensive starlets two years ago, Football Insider are reporting that reigning Champions League winners PSG are interested in bringing Yoro back to his homeland.
Although Yoro’s current contract might run until the summer of 2029, and with both parties holding the option to extend by a further 12 months, the Manchester United hierarchy are reportedly growing more open to the idea of parting ways with the 20-year-old.
Football Insider are suggesting that Carrick’s side would consider the option of allowing Yoro to leave the club on an initial loan switch when the transfer window reopens in January.
🚨 Manchester United could consider selling Leny Yoro in 2027 if they receive a huge offer.
Paris Saint-Germain are interested, while United remain reluctant to lose the highly rated 20-year-old defender.
A January loan is also under consideration if Yoro continues to struggle for regular playing time.
