‘Make the call’ – New York Giants fans name their Jaxson Dart replacement QB

Jaxson Dart was forced out of the New York Giants‘ game on Monday against the Los Angeles Rams through a first quarter injury.

The young quarterback is believed to have suffered an MCL sprain, but he was able to walk off the field under his own power at SoFi Stadium.

Although it is likely that Dart is going to miss some time, it is not going to be a season-ending issue for the 23-year-old.

However, there will be even more concerns among the Giant fanbase after seeing how QB2 Jameis Winston played when he came onto the field.

The veteran quarterback’s sorry performance against the Rams has already got Giants fans online demanding to make a move in the market.

Fans think Dart will miss around 4-6 weeks of action after attempting to lip-read one of the Giants’ staff members on the sideline.

The injury will naturally worry fans in New York, with the baton being handed over to Winston, who looked way off against the Rams.

‘DeVito should have never been released. He gets zero respect and he actually showed some promise,’ said one fan on X.

‘Tommy can you hear me,’ another added.

DeVito was cut by the Giants last summer, with the QB now with the New England Patriots as the backup to Drake Maye.

‘Bring him back,’ one Giants fan very emphatically said.

‘I lowkey want Tommy DeVito back,’ one Giants fan said online after seeing Winston struggle.

During the 2023 season, DeVito racked up eight touchdowns and three interceptions for the Giants as he filled in at QB under Brian Daboll.

One fan was definitely onboard to bring back DeVito: ‘MAKE THE CALLLLLLLLLL.’

‘Where’s Tommy DeVito, bring him back,’ another added.
