Major Side Gigs You Can Do Besides Your Main Job
With our gadgets we don’t feel the need to do do things indulging our physical body or perhaps, a concrete visibility isn’t needed anymore.
I remember back in those days, working online or remotely as a side gig were a bit difficult either due to the perceived status of the kind of job or a simple assumption that’s it’s limited to the high class alone, social media or money.
Having a side gig helps you do what you want without haven to quite what you have to do. Aside from it’s extra income benefits, it helps you invest in your talents and exploit your trading abilities.
It also helps you gather more intell and insights on business that doesn’t involve the application of your skills except diplomacy and financial capability.
If you are contemplating which side gig to venture into either for fun or business. Here are six to consider;
1. Blogging
Blogging had remained one of the top largest online job people do as a side gig, although some individuals/ companies are into it fully as a main course where they generate their major income from.
Apart from it’s vastness in varieties which could allow you leverage beyond range on what to blog on, its also one of the fastest way to earn money as long as you keep running it with an up-to-date article and posts, contents with proper requirements in place like essential trending events , proper monitoring and editing and updatws, SEOs, Ads e.t.c.
Blogging has become quite easier that you don’t have to give up your assets and properties as a collateral in order to start operating one as long as you’ve got mainly a laptop and probably a smart phone or other gadgets, correspondents that’s got their eye peeled on information, you’re good to go.
This doesn’t involve resuming at 7am to 5pm or keeping some attendance in check, it’s a thing you can do at any time or place in the world.
Some blog posts may involve doing some research in real life, but that’s sure for people that are into it full time.

It all goes down to how easily the inspiration comes for me, writing is actually easy and simple as long as it’s what you love doing. You can go into writing as a side gig and thrive at it too.
The beautiful aspect of it is that, unlike blogging that needs constant operation and some special application writing does not.
I’m not saying you shouo be consistent with whatever you’re writing either poem, novels, short stories e.t.c what I’m insinuating is that, you can write multiple books at a time and the only thing to keep you going steadily is taking breaks at intervals.
You can launch about six books at once and if the first too is taking time to yield in, the remaining ones are sure to be an eye catch depending on what area you choose to write on. Writing helps you to express how you feel and what’s inside of you at anytime, so it’s sure to enhance you mentally, without interrupting your main job.
3. Digital marketing
This is quite broad, as it includes affiliate marketing, letter writing content creation, developer, branding, coaching/sensitizing e.t.c as long as you have the ability to market your skills with no limit.
Digital marketing is as easy as you not owning any particular product but still can get to earn from by getting clients to patronize the real owner, it is as simple as that!. Although, it doesn’t mean you can’t market for yourself, infact you can digitalize your main job (most people do) this would generate streams of income for you because people outside your country or state would get to see what you’re you’re into and patronize you if it suits their taste.
Platforms like Facebook and Instagram e.t.c are majorly used as a medium apart from blogs since it’s quite easier . You can go for it as a side gig as long as it’s what you really like doing or that you find pleasure in doing at anytime, it definitely can’t interrupt your main job.
4. Freelancing
I’ve heard and seen people make thousands of dollars from freelancing as a gig. It’s quite simple, I you aren’t opting for the blogging or writing but you actually don’t want to do it specifically, freelancing is the best option.
Esty, fiver, workplace, freelancer and so on are the platforms to get tagged on. It involves a wide range of varieties and activities that needs versatile and capable people to get better results.
You could look up those platforms for a Proposal writer, M.E editor, SEO specialist, Editors, script writers e.t.c as long as you are qualified for it. You can earn money from performing a short task for a client or completing an assignment assigned to you.
Freelancing can be a bit broad, so if you must take it up as a side gig you have to be quite prepared and skillful.
5. Crypto investment
This sure is also one of the biggest platforms people are into presently. Bitcoin trading, coins generally, giftcards, Nfts e.t.c The only thing is, it involves investing some money inol order to trade with it to yield some profits for you.
It isn’t stressful though there may be needs to take risks. Taking risk is one of the essential tool to becoming rich and successful. You may need to learn some techniques on how to go about it.
You can make a huge deal from it if you are consistent. It wouldn’t interfere with your main job.
6. Content creator
Being a content creator doesn’t put a limit to what everyone tagged it to be _writing. You could be a YouTuber, skit performer, singer, or just a simple artist.
As long as you influence people, you are creating a content, pattern, or context for others to follow. Content creating (depending on which you’d like to go into) can be considered as a way of catching fun even as a gig.
It only takes you to have some followers on any social media platform and you’re good to go. Take skits for instance,you perform some series of hilarious activities (even if it’s as short as 3-4 minutes) and all it takes is to tap and watch. Indirectly, you are doing what you love, as well as expressing yourself.
Keeping tabs on reviews as a gig and also monetizing it. Quite magical right?! As easier as it sounds, it does demands diplomacy in constructing stable audiences. It doesn’t mean it would infringe on your main job though.
How about sparing just ten minutes of your time in every 4-5 hours of the day to keep the vibes going?. It would definitely be a rewarding side gig to venture into.
