It’s time for a tropical edition of The Courier Journal‘s Louisville basketball mailbag.

This time next week, Pat Kelsey and the Cardinals will be en route to the Bahamas for two exhibitions games against teams from the Caribbean country in the Baha Mar Hoops Summer League.

Game 1 is set for a 2 p.m. tipoff Tuesday, July 28. Game 2 is set for a noon tipoff Wednesday, July 29. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to watch either dress rehearsal — or follow along on the radio.

Don’t worry. The Courier Journal will be at Baha Mar Convention, Arts and Entertainment Center for the first look at Kelsey’s overhauled roster, including a nine-man incoming class that ranks seventh on 247Sports’ national leaderboard. With all of the new faces, there’s no shortage of storylines to follow.

This is where you come in. What questions do you have about where UofL stands entering the unofficial start of the 2026-27 season?

We’ll answer some of them in a mailbag that’ll post the day before the first exhibition of the trip. Others will guide our coverage from Baha Mar — an inside look at what should be a formative experience for a team with lofty expectations.
