It’s been 31 years since Northmor has played in a baseball state tournament. It’s been two seasons since Northmor’s football team advanced to the state semifinals.
At 10 a.m. June 11, the Golden Knights will play in a Division VI state semifinal baseball game in Akron’s 7 17 Credit Union Park.
Northmor (25-5), ranked No. 8 in the last state coaches poll, is playing No. 4 Hartville Lake Center Christian (23-4-1). The other semifinal pits three-time defending state champ Berlin Hiland, ranked No. 2, against No. 3 St. Henry at 1 p.m. The winners return June 12 at 10 a.m. for the state championship.
