The Detroit Lions (0-1) meet the Washington Commanders (1-0) from Ford Field on Saturday in the second of each team’s three NFL preseason games.
Detroit has had this second preseason date earmarked as the spot to play more of its starters. Lions head coach Dan Campbell said earlier this week that a “significant amount of the starters” would suit up against the Commanders.
That list does not include Lions starting quarterback Jared Goff, who Campbell said will sit again. Veteran Josh Dobbs is set to start for Detroit.

Fans in the Detroit market can watch on Fox 2 Detroit. Jason Benetti (play-by-play), T.J. Lang (color analyst) and Patti Cesarini (sideline reporter) will be on the call from Ford Field.
