Lens predicted XI v Lorient: Odsonne Édouard to return?

Having missed out last week due to a minor injury, Odsonne Édouard could return for RC Lens against FC Lorient this afternoon. It is, however, Abdallah Sima who is expected to lead the line at the Bollaert.

Dino Toppmoller, looking to return to winning ways following last weekend’s loss to RC Strasbourg Alsace, is without Saud Abdulhamid, Samson Baidoo, and Maik Nawrocki. The latter suffered an ACL injury this week and is now set for a significant period on the sidelines. It leaves Lens light at the back. Jonathan Gradit is still not quite fit enough to start and Jean-Clair Todibo is not yet match-sharp, so the options are limited. Kyllian Antonio, back from suspension, could be thrown straight back in. Starting Ruben Aguilar in the RCB role and slotting Michal Skoras in at RWB is another potential option for Les Sang et Or.
