Lamar Jackson’s response to playing Cowboys in Brazil is perfect

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is not worried about facing the Dallas Cowboys in Brazil during Week 3.

The Ravens and Cowboys will meet in Rio de Janeiro on Sunday, with both teams entering the international matchup at 1-1. Jackson was asked whether Dallas’ status as “America’s Team” could give the Cowboys an advantage with the Brazilian crowd.

His response was simple.

Jackson pointed out that the game is being played in Brazil rather than the United States. “This is America, that’s Brazil, so we’ll see. We’ll see,” Jackson said.

The two-time MVP will now turn his attention to the field as Baltimore looks to bounce back from its Week 2 loss to the New Orleans Saints. Jackson has thrown for 559 yards, two touchdowns and one interception through two games while adding 74 rushing yards and a touchdown.

The Cowboys are coming off a 37-20 victory over the Washington Commanders, setting up an intriguing matchup between two offenses looking to build momentum in Brazil.
