Lamar Jackson is not practicing Wednesday

Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson didn’t mention any injury or illness during a press conference ahead of Wednesday’s practice, so it’s not clear why he was not on the field with the rest of the team.

Reporters at the open portion of practice shared that Jackson was among the Ravens players who were not participating as the team began preparing to face the Titans in Week 4.

The lack of discussion of any physical issues suggests Jackson could be taking a rest day. Head coach Jesse Minter will hold a press conference after practice and the team’s injury report will also provide word on why he has the day off.

Defensive lineman Calais Campbell, center Jovaughn Gwyn, linebacker Trey Hendrickson, and center Ethan Pocic were the other Ravens who weren’t participating on Wednesday.
