Kyle Williams' eight-word reaction to Romeo Doubs Mossing defenders

New England Patriots wide receiver Kyle Williams was impressed with Romeo Doubs’ dominance at Saturday’s practice.

It was the team’s first practice following Thursday’s preseason opener against the Indianapolis Colts. Doubs hauled in three touchdown receptions during the team period, including multiple jump balls against defenders.

It has shown a growing connection between Doubs and quarterback Drake Maye. For all of the talk about A.J. Brown in the Patriots‘ offense, Doubs will also be a major problem for opposing defenses this season. When asked about Doubs’ impressive practice day, Williams took the conversation to outer space.

Doubs stepping up as a serious No. 2 threat is exactly what the Patriots envisioned when they signed him in free agency.

The wide receiver room in New England is shaping up to be one of the best in football. Along with Brown and Doubs, the unit also includes Kayshon Boutte, DeMario Douglas, Mack Hollins, Williams and Efton Chism III. It has been a long time since the Patriots have ever had that much talent at the receiver position.
