The Boston Celtics are reportedly one of the two finalists for Giannis Antetokounmpo in a trade with the Milwaukee Bucks, and Kyle Kuzma could be hinting at a deal being done.

On Monday morning, NBA insider Shams Charania reported that Antetokounmpo will be traded before Tuesday’s NBA Draft and that the Celtics have a real chance to land him. It’s unclear exactly what the Celtics can offer, outside of Jaylen Brown. It is also unclear whether anyone else would be headed to Boston with Antetokounmpo.

Well, Kyle Kuzma may be hinting at the fact that a deal is done and fans will soon find out. NBA insider Bill Simmons reported on Sunday that Kuzma could be included in a trade as a “Giannis tax.”

He posted eight bomb emojis, hinting at a bombshell report incoming, before saying a “major announcement” was coming “soon.” To top things off, he replied to a post about him being included in a potential Antetokounmpo trade.

“Since when is a 6’9 wing who plays any role you ask, guards 1–5, shot almost 50% from the field and cares about defense a ‘throw‑in’? lol,” Kuzma said in response to Simmons’ comments.

Kuzma is an NBA champion and averaged 13 points last season. He is a solid player, but not a superstar. However, he could play a role on any team that acquires Antetokounmpo if he’s included.
