Koke to play on at Atletico Madrid

Atletico Madrid stalwart Koke has penned a contract extension to keep him at the club until the end of next season.
Koke is Atletico’s record appearance maker, with 740 games for the club.
He made his debut in the 2009-10 season, and is now set to play on for a 17th senior campaign.
The 34-year-old has been integral to Atletico’s success under Diego Simeone. He counts two LaLiga titles and two Europa League triumphs among his honours.
Koke has scored 50 goals for Atletico, providing 122 assists. He featured in 56 matches last term, making 40 starts and registering five goal involvements.
