Kirby Smart reveals when Georgia football will wear all-white uniforms

Georgia football will be wearing all-white uniforms this season for one game.

Coach Kirby Smart revealed the news to the 2026 Bulldogs team on the eve of preseason camp.

Safety KJ Bolden and tight end Lawson Luckie were invited out during the team meeting wearing the white jerseys, white pants and white helmts with the black Georgia ‘G’ on the side.

Smart told the players the Bulldogs will wear them for the Sept. 12 12:45 p.m. home game against Western Kentucky, he said in a video posted Tuesday Aug. 4 to ‘Glory Glory,’ the subscriber NIL site.

Smart had told fans in the spring if they tripled subscriptions to the site by the spring game, the Bulldogs would wear the alternate uniforms.

Smart called out the players Tuesday under the guise of how players should dress and what they should wear for games.

“Ya’ll been begging my ass,” Smart said as the players turned up their volume in reaction to the unfiroms. “Hey, Hey. Hey. April Fools! April Fools! No, we’re going to wear them Western Kentucky. Y’all have been begging for long enough. We’re going to wear them one time and get them out there.”

Georgia white uniforms have been seen during recruiting visits in recent years.

Georgia wore black jerseys twice in the 2020 season against Mississippi State in Athens and in the Peach Bowl against Cincinnati.

Now the all-whites are coming next month.

“I’m so sick of hearing about it,” Smart said this spring laughing.
