The abductors of Oba Moses Omotayo Oyinloye, the traditional ruler of Igbesi community in Isin Local Government Area of Kwara State, are demanding a N30 million ransom.
The monarch’s younger brother and Nollywood filmmaker, Olaide Olabanji, disclosed this in a post on his Instagram page.
Olabanji made the disclosure four days after Oba Oyinloye was kidnapped from his palace on Saturday, August 22, 2026.
Updating the public on the development, the filmmaker said the abductors were demanding N30 million for the monarch’s release.
“My dear brother, His Royal Majesty, Oba Moses Omotayo Oyinloye, the Onigbesi of Igbesi land, Kwara State, was kidnapped on Saturday,” he wrote.
He added that the kidnappers were demanding N30 million as ransom.
“We pray to Almighty God for his safety,” he said.
