Key Bills defenders sit out of drills on Day 2 of training camp

Buffalo Bills inside linebackers Terrel Bernard and Dorian Williams sat out practice at Buffalo Bills training camp at St. John Fisher University in Pittsford. It’s likely as a precaution

Bernard is coming off a serious ankle injury that limited him even in the spring, and Williams revealed Wednesday that the reason he was on crutches during the OTAs was because he suffered a microfracture in his knee.

Both were on the field Wednesday but it appears the coaching is going to take it slow with them to prevent further injury.

This means players like Kalem Elarms-Orr, Keonta Jenkins, Joe Andreessen and Demetrius Flanigan-Fowles got plenty of reps with Elarms-Orr and Jenkins getting most of the first-team reps.
