Kevin Durant was in attendance at Crypto.com Arena on Monday. He sat courtside to watch the Los Angeles Sparks-Seattle Storm game. The NBA star was captured on video enjoying his time while having some nachos.
He is coming off a solid first season with the Houston Rockets. Durant led the team to the playoffs but lost in the first round to the Los Angeles Lakers. The former league MVP also made history by surpassing Michael Jordan for fifth place in the all-time scoring list.
Fans on X trolled Durant for showing up at the WNBA game. Some poked fun at his outfit as he wore a beanie and a jacket despite the warm weather outside.
“KD showing up at a WNBA game? Guess he’s just trying to see if the sparks can light up his three‑point range,” one user wrote.
“He been wearing beanies to much lol. Time to go bald KD it’s that time brother,” a comment read.
“If they win he’s probably gonna sign with them,” one fan said.
“That Carhartt jacket is doing more work than the game,” posted another.
“A winter hat and coat in 85* LA,” a reaction read.
“its f***** 80 degrees and he looking like its december,” another fan commented.

Durant appeared and started 78 regular-season games for Houston. He registered 26.0 points, 5.5 rebounds and 4.8 rebounds per game. The two-time NBA champion also proved that he can coexist with Alperen Sengun, and at times played as the second option.
The Rockets added veterans Marcus Smart and Bogdan Bogdanovic this offseason to surround the star frontcourt duo with more talent. With a season playing together under their belts, Durant and Sengun will look to lead the franchise to greater heights.
