Kayshon Boutte comments on Drake Maye's post after Patriots' upset win

Kayshon Boutte might be gone, but he clearly still has an eye in New England.

The Houston Texans wide receiver commented on his former teammate, quarterback Drake Maye’s, social media post after the New England Patriots’ upset win over the Buffalo Bills in Week 4.

It was a much-needed win for the Patriots, who improved to 2-2 on the season. Maye also snapped out of his slump by leading the team on a game-winning touchdown drive and outdueling Josh Allen and the No. 1-ranked offense in the NFL on the road.

Boutte, who was drafted by the Patriots, was traded to the Texans before the start of the season. He still took the time to show some love to Maye and his former teammates in New England by leaving a heart emoji on Maye’s post.

The Texans have yet to win a game through the first four weeks of the season.

Boutte has nine receptions for 115 yards so far this year. The Patriots could certainly use his presence now with both A.J. Brown and Mack Hollins dealing with injuries. Even with one year left on Boutte’s contract, that trade will forever remain one of the most debated moves in the Mike Vrabel era.
