Kamo breaks silence over Funke Akindele’s absence at his movie premiere

Nigerian content creator turned actor, Kamo State, has broken his silence over the absence of his godmother, Funke Akindele at his movie premiere. 

DAILY POST reports that Funke Akindele has been facing backlash over her noticeable absence from the premiere of Kamo’s debut cinema film ‘Star Lomo’ on Sunday.

Her absence was linked to an alleged disagreement between them.

Speaking amid the ongoing backlash, Kamo stated that the actress was absent because she travelled outside the country.

While urging netizens to stop speculating about their relationship, he noted that they are on good terms.

“I woke up to see different opinions online about Iyamii and myself. Please we are on good terms.

“She missed my premiere because she wasn’t in the country. So please don’t assume otherwise. We have spoken about it, and she is going to support this film. I would appreciate it if our personal relationship isn’t speculated on,” he wrote on X platform.
