Juventus terminate Arthur’s contract

Juventus have terminated Arthur Melo’s contract amid reports he is set to join Besiktas.
Arthur was once one of the most highly touted midfielders in Europe during his time at Barcelona.
The Brazilian helped Barca win the league title in 2018-19, but since joining Juve in 2020, his form has dropped off massively.
He has made 63 appearances for Juve, scoring one goal and laying on one assist.
Arthur has also had loan spells at Liverpool, where he made just one appearance, Fiorentina, Girona and Gremio.
Juve have now released the 30-year-old from his contract, and it seems as though Turkish giants Besiktas are aiming to get a deal done.
The Club have reached an agreement for the mutual termination of Arthur Melo’s contract.
