A return would reunite Juventus with a goalkeeper who already understands the demands of the job. Neto spent two seasons in Turin from 2015 to 2017 and played every minute of the club’s victorious Coppa Italia campaigns in both years, keeping five clean sheets across those ten matches.
That record offers a relevant reference for a club seeking dependable cover. Neto was able to contribute to trophy-winning teams despite limited league opportunities, and his previous experience in Serie A would reduce the adjustment required if he joins Spalletti’s squad.
