Juventus consider Brian Brobbey

According to reports in Italy, Juventus are considering a potential swoop for Sunderland striker Brian Brobbey, as an alternative option in case their pursuit of Paris Saint-Germain’s Randal Kolo Muani doesn’t yield the desired result.

Brobbey’s 2025-26 numbers were hardly impressive – just seven goals and one assist in 31 Premier League appearances, but his physical strength and admirable work rate certainly played their part as the Black Cats finished the campaign in seventh place and qualified for the Europa League. On top of that, his fine performances at the World Cup – three goals in the opening two matches for Netherlands – are expected to boost his market value.

Given that they signed the 24-year-old from Ajax on Deadline Day last summer for €20 million, Sunderland would probably be open to talks if an offer in the region of €35-40 million is made, and that certainly isn’t too expensive for a club like Juventus.

However, the Bianconeri are still expected to try and close the deal for Kolo Muani first.
