Jürgen Klopp had another busy weekend of German football, with the new Germany head coach taking in Sunday afternoon’s Bundesliga action between FC Augsburg and Schalke 04 at the WWK Arena.
Klopp was spotted in attendance for the match, just days after making headlines with his visit to Bayern Munich’s training session. His appearance in Augsburg underlines the Germany boss’ desire to keep a close eye on the players who could potentially feature in his plans for the national team.
The former Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund manager has already made it clear that he wants to build strong relationships with players and clubs across Germany as he begins his new role.
