Former Liverpool head coach Jürgen Klopp has this weekend moved to dispel the fresh speculation linking him with the manager8217;s job at La Liga giants Real Madrid.
The name of tactician Klopp has of course returned to the forefront of the headlines in Spain’s capital over recent days.
As much comes after Real Madrid presidential candidate Enrique Riquelme named the 58-year-old as his leading target to take up the managerial reins at the Bernabéu.
Any such move would come despite long-time Blancos president Florentino Pérez having put a deal in place for José Mourinho to return.
Speaking during an appearance in front of the media this weekend, Marc Kosicke, Klopp’s agent, was therefore drawn on his client’s renewed Real Madrid links.
Kosicke, though, made use of the opportunity to confirm to Sky Sports Germany that:
“It’s annoying. He’s not planning to return to coaching a club and happy at Red Bull.”
