In its previous notice, the board explained that candidates who accepted their offers would be able to print and obtain their admission letters, while those who rejected them would have their CAPS dashboards updated to “Not Admitted”.
JAMB had also clarified that candidates who had transferred to another institution or changed programmes could accept an earlier outstanding offer before applying for the relevant correction or deletion, where necessary.
Candidates admitted during the 2026 admission exercise were also permitted to reject previous outstanding offers without jeopardising their current admission, according to the board’s earlier guidance.
However, under the latest extension, any 2021–2025 offer that remains neither accepted nor rejected by November 30 will automatically be recorded as “Not Admitted”.
JAMB further warned that candidates seeking to update such admissions after the deadline would be required to pay the applicable penalty fee.
