Jamari Johnson teases Oregon uniforms vs. USC, Washington

The Oregon Ducks will continue to wear the “Generation O” uniform sets for the 2026 season, but the Ducks always find a way to mix it up every season.

The Ducks mix and match different colors for game days and occasionally will break out a unique look separate from the set. Last season, Oregon wore a charcoal black and marble white helmet against Oregon State, honoring Phil Knight and Nike. Later in the season against Wisconsin, the Ducks changed their all-black look with green tie-dye numbers to create Grateful Dead-inspired jerseys.

Dan Lanning was a big fan of the former, while Oregon tight end Jamari Johnson enjoyed wearing the latter, according to an interview the pair had with The Journey Media at Big Ten media days. When asked about their favorite Oregon uniform combinations, Lanning also shouted out the yellow cancer awareness jerseys his family helped create in 2024.

The Ducks are never afraid to make a fashion statement. So, does the program have anything cooking for this season?

Johnson said there are two games this season that fans should be excited about when it comes to the team’s attire.

“USC and the last game against Washington,” Johnson said. “Those two uniforms — I think you all have seen just a little bit, but it’s going to be different. Stay tuned.”

Oregon will travel to Los Angeles to face USC on Sept. 26 in the Ducks’ first game in Big Ten play. The Ducks traditionally wear white on the road, and the program has infamously worn a Stormtrooper look on the road in Los Angeles as part of a “Storm L.A.” campaign back in 2012. Fans have been told to wear white as well, so the Ducks should follow suit.

Washington will come to Autzen Stadium to wrap up the regular season on Nov. 28. Oregon fans have been told to wear black for the game, and the Ducks did wear black and chrome against the Huskies in Eugene back in 2024. It would make sense for the Ducks to wear black again.

Johnson believes fans have already seen “a little bit” of the uniforms, which suggests the Ducks might be making a small change to their usual uniform sets, similar to the tie-dye look the team wore last season.

Oregon won’t reveal any uniforms until the week of the game, so fans will have to wait and keep their eyes peeled for any clues in the lead-up to both matchups.
