Jalen Brunson scored 30 points as the New York Knicks beat the San Antonio Spurs 105-95 in the opening game of the NBA Finals.
The Knicks overturned a seven-point half-time deficit – at one stage after the break they trailed by 14 – as they extended their play-off winning streak to 12 games at Frost Bank Center.
Spurs star Victor Wembanyama scored 26 points despite making only six of 21 attempts from the field.
The Knicks are looking to win a first title since 1973.
