New York Knicks superstar Jalen Brunson was in attendance at rival Donovan Mitchell’s wedding to Coco Jones, alongside some other Eastern Conference rivals.
Mitchell’s wedding on August 1 served as an impromptu gathering spot for the three stars of the presumed biggest contenders in the East next season.
But the high spirits caused by the wedding led to Brunson becoming a meme all over social media in an interaction with Jaylen Brown and Josh Hart.

Brunson was on the dance floor at the Mitchell-Jones wedding when Brown decided to record him, with the reigning Finals MVP staring into the camera with an eerie smile before yelling out to Hart.
Brown shared the video on his Instagram story, with screen recordings of the same going viral on the internet.
The irony of a 76ers star having this moment with the reigning champion Brunson at the wedding of a Cavaliers guard is not lost on fans, who expect them to be fierce on-court rivals next season.
Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton also got married on the same day, but with fewer NBA superstars in attendance.
