The Jacksonville Jaguars are moving on from first-year quarterback Joey Aguilar, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.
Fowler adds that the Jaguars would like to get Aguilar back on the practice squad if he clears waivers.

Aguilar appeared in all three preseason games, completing 17-of-20 passes for 230 yards with a touchdown pass.
He signed with the Jaguars following the 2026 NFL draft as an undrafted rookie.
Also at the quarterback position, the Jaguars acquired Quinn Ewers in a trade with the Miami Dolphins.
