The celebrity guest picker for this week’s College GameDay was announced on the Pat McAfee show, and Tennessee fans are calling it worth the watch.
This Saturday, College GameDay will host the Texas Longhorns and the Tennessee Volunteers for their Week 4 matchup in Knoxville. Earlier, GameDay host Pat McAfee gave an honorable introduction to celebrity guest picker Johnny Knoxville via his self-titled show.

“Now joining us, ladies and gentlemen, the person joining us will be the guest picker this week, as the Texas Longhorns travel to Knoxville, Tennessee, to take on the Tennessee Volunteers and Coach Heupel. Ladies and gentlemen there have been a lot of rumors on who the guest picker is, and for me, this particular person, perfect pick. I seen this man in Tennessee football practice gear; I have seen this man damn near naked. I have seen this man put his body and life on the line for our entertainment. Legit actor, certified stuntman, mad man, icon, and a guy who loves the University of Tennessee, ladies and gentlemen, our guest picker for GameDay this weekend, Johnny Knoxville,” McAfee said on his show.
Knoxville joined the show via video call and said he was ‘excited’ to be the guest picker this week, as the former Jackass star grew up in Knoxville, Tennessee, and has always supported the Volunteers.

“I was talking to you earlier today, and you said, ‘ Hey, I bleed orange,’…But you do love Tennessee; how excited are you to get back there this weekend, and what are you expecting?” McAfee asked Knoxville.
“This is one of the best calls I’ve ever gotten in my life from you, to be the guest picker at Tennessee; I mean, I bleed orange,” Knoxville responded, showing off the multiple college jerseys he wore. “I’m rather excited to be the guest picker this weekend, Pat.”
The Longhorns and Vols match up for noon at Neyland Stadium, as Knoxville and the College GameDay crew are set to host.
