South Jersey routinely produces some of the very best scholastic girls lacrosse players in the state, much less the country. Determining which players deserve the honor of being named the very best in South Jersey is never an easy task.

The Courier-Post chooses the best of the best 12 players for its first and second All-South Jersey teams.

Here are the 2026 Courier-Post All-South Jersey girls lacrosse teams:

A giraffe in lacrosse parlance, Ball uses her 6-foot-3 height to the utmost advantage. A dominant player on the draw and deceptively quick and shifty in the fan, Ball scored a career-best 68 goals this season to finish with 181. Ball has a year left before enrolling at Coast Carolina University.

The Courier-Post Player of the Year closed out her career with 84 goals and 33 assists to raise her career totals to an astounding 310 and 145 for 455 points. The three-time USA Lacrosse All-American and two time Academic All-American will play at the University of North Carolina next season.

The Pioneers leader has raised her game significantly this spring. A deft passer and canny scorer, Remaly scored 51 goals with 10 assists to finish with 107 career tallies. A first-time UDSA Lacrosse All-American, Remaly has accepted an appointment to the United States Naval Academy.

Every team needs an engine and Austin served that role for the Haddons. Unstoppable around the circle, Austin had a career-best 98 points on 74 goals and 24 assists. She finished her career with 228 career goals. A three-time USA Lacrosse All-American and two-time Academic All-American, Austin will matriculate at Harvard University in the fall.

A leader in every sense, Blong wore the Quakers famed No. 51 jersey this season, a brought honor to an already sterling legacy. Blong led the Quakers with 42 goals and finished with 112 for her career. Blong was named a USA All-American and earned the South Jersey Region Jackie Pitts Award for a senior player who goes ‘above and beyond’ in the service to her team, school and community. Blong will play next at Rutgers University.

Every Crusaders’ eye looked to Dundee when Bishop Eustace needed an impactful play. The junior scored a career-best 45 goals, crossing the century mark and ending with 124. Dundee is a first-time USA Lacrosse All-American and has accepted an appointment to the United States Military Academy after graduating next spring.

One of the most dynamic players in South Jersey, Legato was a four-year starter for the Lions, scoring a career-best 56 goals this spring to finish with 199 for her career. Dominant on the draw, Legato topped 100 draw controls for the third time, finishing with 511 total. Legato will play next at Loyola University.

The cornerstone of the Red Raiders’ offense, Ostrander always finds a way to impact a game. An accomplished shooter and strong passer, Ostrander had 63 goals and 23 assists this season. She has 133 tallies for her career. With 123, Ostrander had her second triple-digit draw control season. After next season, Ostrander will play at the University of Denver.

The Quakers’ most impactful defensive player is granted the honor of wearing the No. 21. McNulty brought a swagger to the jersey this spring. A leader who a mostly young defense rallied around, McNulty found the time to chip in with 22 goals. McNulty is committed to play at the Catholic University of America.

The anchor of the South Jersey Group 4 champions’ defense, Pino set a standard for the Chiefs’ back line. A contributor on the offensive end, Pino had 37 goals this spring to bring her career total to 85. She will play at the College of New Jersey next spring.

The best defender in South Jersey. Full stop. Tepes was equally adept at neutralizing the opponent’s most dangerous offensive threat or diagnosing and defeating the transition, Tepes led one of the area’s top defenses. Tepes doubled her career goal total with one tally this season while adding 55 draw controls to her toolkit. Tepes will play at Duquesne University next spring.

The Chiefs won the South Jersey Group 4 title thanks in large part to a defense that allowed fewer than five goals per contest. Standing in the circle for that defense was a precocious sophomore, who steadied and directed the defense in front of her. Spicer established herself as an excellent shot blocker, stopping the routine shot consistently and making the spectacular save when called on.
