‘It’s scary’ – Cesc Fabregas says Barcelona are playing at a ‘frightening’ level

Cesc Fabregas will enjoy a reunion with Barcelona this season as his Como side face the Catalans in the League Phase of the Champions League.

Barcelona opened up their European campaign with a 5-1 demolition of Feyenoord, while Como beat RB Leipzig 4-1 in their first fixture of the competition.

Speaking after the match, Fabregas looked forward to the game against Barcelona and says that Hansi Flick’s side are in scarily good form.

“Yesterday I watched the Barça game and I have to say, Feyenoord is a very good team, but Barça makes you look bad because they find solutions at every moment,” he told Movistar.

“You can defend them man-to-man, like they tried with Rodri or Pedri , but they find solutions everywhere. Whoever plays, they’re at a very high level. It’s scary, the level they’re playing at right now is frightening.”

Fabregas has led Como into the Champions League for the first time in their history and a big win over RB Leipzig is an impressive start.

Barcelona and Como are due to meet in January in the Champions League at Camp Nou.
