The International Symposium on Radiopharmaceutical Therapy (ISRT) 2026 will take place on 28–29 August 2026 at Loveworld Medical Centre, Lagos, Nigeria, bringing together an extensive international scientific faculty of leading experts in nuclear medicine, radiopharmaceutical therapy, theragnostics, molecular imaging, oncology, radiopharmacy and precision medicine.
The distinguished faculty and contributors represent countries across Africa, Europe, Asia and North America, including Nigeria, South Africa, Algeria, Egypt, Kenya, Ethiopia, Germany, India and the United States, creating a truly international platform for scientific exchange, education and collaboration.
Hosted by Loveworld Medical Centre, the symposium will showcase some of the latest advances transforming cancer diagnosis and treatment, including targeted radiopharmaceutical therapies, molecular imaging, radioligand therapy and emerging precision cancer treatments.
Importantly, ISRT 2026 goes beyond scientific lectures. The programme incorporates hands-on workshops, clinical case discussions, multidisciplinary education, African country perspectives and strategic discussions focused on how these advanced technologies can be implemented and expanded sustainably across the continent.
A major objective is to strengthen African capacity through education, workforce development, international partnerships, technology transfer and collaboration, while connecting African healthcare professionals with some of the world’s leading experts in the field.
