IShowSpeed issues gloomy response to Lionel Messi dominating Algeria
Cristiano Ronaldo fan IShowSpeed had to watch on as Lionel Messi scored a World Cup hat-trick against Algeria during the latest round of group games.
The South American outfit secured a 3-0 win on the night, with the Inter Miami star scoring all three of his country’s goals.
It means Messi is now level with Miroslav Klose for the most World Cup goals scored ever (16).
Ronaldo, on the other hand, only has eight to his name, and watching the Portuguese star’s rival excel in North America has not gone down well with IShowSpeed.
IShowSpeed unhappy as Lionel Messi’s Argentina beat Algeria
For several years now, Speed has made his love for Ronaldo clear, as is evident by the fact that he has the ‘sui’ (the name of Ronaldo’s celebration) in his X/Twitter handle.
In turn, it is perhaps not surprising that the content creator was not a happy man on Tuesday evening.
Speed even went as far as to send a message to Algeria via his official X/Twitter account.
Towards the end of the game on Tuesday, he wrote: “Come on Algeria man really.”
Argentina are next in action against Austria on June 22 at the Dallas Stadium.
They will then finish their Group J campaign late on June 27 with a meeting against Jordan.
Given Argentina have already won one game and should be favourites in their remaining two ties, they are expected to at least make it into the Round of 32.
That will mean Messi should have, at minimum, three more chances to cement himself as the World Cup’s all-time top goalscorer.
