And if you look at his last name, it might sound familiar. Is he related to Emil Hemming, the right winger who went 29th overall to the Dallas Stars back at the 2024 NHL Draft? The answer is: Yes! Emil is Oscar’s older brother. Maybe that means he’ll be there in Buffalo to cheer on his sibling on Friday night if the whole family is in attendance for the draft.
Probably not? NHL mock drafts have Hemming as a first rounder and the Stars don’t have a pick on Friday. But maybe if Hemming drops?
