Is Napoli v Arsenal on TV? How to watch Champions League fixture tonight

Arsenal begin their quest for Champions League glory with a potentially tough test at Napoli.

The Gunners suffered heartbreak as they lost last season’s final to Paris Saint-Germain on penalties in Budapest.

Mikel Arteta’s side will be determined to go one step better and have made a perfect start to their Premier League title defence with three wins from three.

Napoli failed to advance out of the Champions League league phase last season and have lost two games in a row to start their Serie A campaign.

Now managed by former Juventus and Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri, Napoli were 2-0 up at Inter on Saturday night, only to lose 3-2.

Here’s everything you need to know.

When is Napoli v Arsenal?

Kick-off in the Champions League is 8pm BST on Wednesday 9 September at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona in Naples.

How can I watch it?

It will be shown live on TNT Sports 2 and HBO Max.

What is the team news?

Jurrien Timber has travelled to Italy so could be available to play for the first time this season. Cristhian Mosquera did not train before the trip, however, and so is set to miss out with Ezri Konsa continuing in defence. Arteta could make some changes from Sunday’s win over Chelsea with Bruno Guimaraes, Eberechi Eze and Viktor Gyokeres hoping to feature.

Napoli will be without Scott McTominay after he underwent a small heart procedure. Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa has been ruled out while David Neres is doubtful, but former Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne is set to return to the starting line-up and former Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund is another familiar face.

Predicted line-ups

Napoli XI: Meret; Di Lorenzo, Rrahmani, Rafa Marin, Spinazzola; Vergara, Lobotka, De Bruyne; Neres, Hojlund, Alisson Santos

Arsenal XI: Raya; White, Konsa, Gabriel, Calafiori, Zubimendi, Guimaraes, Eze; Tzolis, Gyokeres, Saka
