Two of the most popular New York Giants players, Abdul Carter and Jaxson Dart have been making the headlines ever since the the quarterback introduced Donald Trump at one of his rallies.
The controversy stemmed from the May 22 event in New York when Jaxson introduced the United States President, Donald Trump, to the podium.
Carter was seen questioning Dart’s appearance and was outspoken on social media, saying he thought, “That’s an AI video.” And deleted it later on.
Carter’s statement has left fans behind, thinking that an underlying drama with a potential ego clash can unfold for the New York Giants.
After the big drama, in the recent conversation with the media, both star players were seen publicly praising each other.
Although Carter has given a statement saying it was just a small disagreement; that doesn’t mean there is something more than that.Both the players have sorted things out and are ready to move forward. They have both known each other for almost two years now. Their goal aligns with the organization’s framework.
The former MVP Cam Newton is not convinced with the fact that the franchise won’t be able to keep the team away from the drama and underlying ego clash. Newton addressed the ongoing awkwardness between the two players in the locker room. The former MVP was seen questioning Dart if he has the mental ability to lead the organization.
In the recent podcast Newton talks about ongoing controversy and said:
“Does Dart understand being a quarterback? Not only is it an expectation for you to lead this team on the field, but it’s also off the field. See, are we going to talk about, uh, Abdul Carter being a distraction? Because not only did he have said tweets that went viral, but is his production going to catch up to what he was asking”?
He also added, “This is the same person that was asking for LT’s number. ” All right. There are so many different things. Is Jaxson Dart going to be a distraction? See, this team isn’t missing any egos.”
With that being said, the organization has a lot of young and emerging talents. It would be a pressure on the Giants to manage any potential ego clashes so as to keep the team under the radar.

Dart explained his side of the story and said that he has always loved the country. It was a very unique opportunity as he got the privilege to appear with Donald Trump. Dart also mentioned that his grandfather has served the country as a secretary of the treasury and he has extended family who have fought in wars.
Carter believes that some things are bigger than football, and this is one of those things. In the recent conversation with the media Carter said:
“Jaxson is one of our leaders. He’s the face of our franchise. He not only represents himself in what he does, but he represents all of us. And that goes for anybody who wears a Giants uniform.”
“But if he chooses to align himself with a man like President Trump, it’s my responsibility based on what I believe and what I stand on to not only show my teammates that I’m against that but to show the world.”
“Jaxson is one of our leaders. He’s the face of our franchise. He not only represents himself in what he does, but he represents all of us. And that goes for anybody who wears a Giants uniform.”
“But if he chooses to align himself with a man like President Trump, it’s my responsibility based on what I believe and what I stand on to not only show my teammates that I’m against that but to show the world.”
He further added that just because they have a difference of opinion, it doesn’t mean that they hate each other. They are close, and they share the same goals as a team.
Carter concluded his statement, saying he doesn’t want an apology from Dart.
He also said, “Stand on what you believe in.” But it can’t be a problem when I stand on what I believe in. And that’s all that matters to me. As long as we have that understanding, it’s all good.”
Both the players have hugged out their differences, and they have shown the world what they believe in.
