Fans from all across Europe are flocking to London’s NFL Pro Shop in search of Philadelphia Eagles gear ahead of Sunday’s game against the Jaguars.
Dennis Brockington is a service member from South Philadelphia living in Spain.
“You get Spanish, you get Portuguese you hear different variations of English language; Scotland, Wales, so the NFL is definitely getting popular,” he said. “Especially the Eagles overseas and it’s great!”

Leo Kamphuis came from Germany to get some gear and watch his favorite team play.
“I have the chance to see the Eagles, and I don’t have to fly to America,” he said. “I was like, let’s book a trip and we’re gone!”
He says American football is his new favorite sport.
“I’m playing myself. I’m a defensive tackle in a German league – low league, no expectations. I love it. Checking guys around, bullying guys around, I love American football,” he said.
And as fans in London get geared up, Eagles fans back home in Philadelphia can find special London-themed gear for Sunday’s game at Minor Details in the city’s Manayunk and Fishtown neighborhoods.
“We are trying to find designs you can’t find at the pro shop,” says owner Mallory Minor. “We got our first London merch request probably in early August.”
