ESPN NFL insiders Jeremy Fowler and Dan Graziano shared some of the latest intel and buzz that they are hearing heading into Week 5, and mentioned was Jacksonville Jaguars‘ defensive coordinator Anthony Campanile.
As Graziano and Fowler discussed which coordinators could earn head coaching interviews next offseason, Graziano brought up Campanile.
This shouldn’t come as a surprise, given that Campanile already had head coaching interviews this last offseason, and that his defense continues to play at a very high level.
“I believe teams are going to want to talk to Jaguars defensive coordinator Anthony Campanile next offseason,” wrote Graziano. “The Jaguars look as good as any team in the league right now, and the program has come together very quickly in its second year under head coach Liam Coen. When teams look for head coaching candidates, they look to the organizations that are doing a lot of winning.”

Entering Week 5, the Jaguars’ defense ranks second in points per game allowed and third in yards per rush. This unit is 13th in quarterback pressure rate as well. Graziano also added that the Campanile’s defense ranks fourth in EPA as well.
Along with Campanile, Jaguars’ offensive coordinator Grant Udinski could again get some head coaching looks in 2027, just as he did in 2026.
