IndyCar starting lineup for race at Portland in August 2026

Portland International Raceway is up next for the NTT IndyCar Series, and Meyer Shank Racing will lead the field to the green flag. Felix Rosenqvist won the pole for the 2026 OnlyBulls Grand Prix of Portland this weekend. Alex Palou will join Rosenqvist on the front row for Sunday afternoon’s event. It is Rosenqvist’s second pole position of the 2026 season.

Will Power and Marcus Ericsson will follow the two drivers on the second row. Most notably, Josef Newgarden, Pato O’Ward, Alexander Rossi, Marcus Armstrong, and Christian Lundgaard all qualified 15th or worse for Sunday’s event. Lundgaard starts last after mechanical issues.
