Indiana Fever star suggests wild Co-MVP idea for Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell

It’s hard to pick between the Indiana Fever’s two superstars this season. Both Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell are enjoying stellar seasons, and one of their teammates knows just the reward.

The Indiana Fever have a 25-14 record and have secured a berth in the WNBA Playoffs. As the battle for seeding continues, their two best players are leading the charge.

Caitlin Clark has been the face of the franchise since she was drafted. However, Kelsey Mitchell has become arguably just as important this season, if not more.

While CC is orchestrating the attack from the point, Mitchell has become the main scorer. Both are being talked about in the 2026 MVP race, and their teammate has an idea that would make everyone happy.

The Fever appear to be a close group this year, everyone seems to know their role. Aliyah Boston has been contributing significantly to the team’s performances, to name one.

Tyasha Harris is a bench player for Indiana. She has averaged 14 minutes a game this season, getting 4.1 points per game. And asked about the MVP race recently, she found a way to prop up both her teammates.

“I think they deserve it. Both of them,” Harris said about Clark and Mitchell in the MVP race. Nobody wants to be (Co-MVP), but hey, I’m gonna throw it out there.”

A statistical tie in votes has never occurred in the league’s history. And while this is a valid sentiment coming from a Fever player, there are some others who likely think neither player deserves MVP.

A’ja Wilson is the best in the league still, and should be a favourite for the award again. Rookie sensation Olivia Miles will be wanting to make history of her own, too. If either Clark or Mitchell got it, though, it would be difficult to say they are undeserving.
