The New York Knicks have sent some gifts to Anne Hathaway on the back of their NBA Finals win earlier this year.
The Knicks secured their first championship in 53 years over the summer when they beat the San Antonio Spurs.
In the build-up to the NBA Finals, Hathaway appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and during her latest appearance this week, she and Fallon discussed that topic again and how her ‘effect’ helped the Knicks win.

Fallon explained: “We also talked about the Knicks last time you were on the show and your love for the Knicks.
“You almost wore an OG Anunoby jersey. They played against the Hawks, I think the day after you were on the show, talking. You gave the Knicks a pep talk here. And then every headline was all you. ‘OG Anunoby enjoys Anne Hathaway effect in Knicks Game 6 win over the Hawks’.
“You were the credit for the Knicks winning.”
He then went on to reveal that OG Anunoby signed a jersey for the actress before gifting it to her live on the show.
Fallon continued: “Well, we had the Knicks on the show, and OG was on the show. I wanted to surprise you. He autographed a jersey for you.”
A few moments later, Jimmy added: “The Knicks sent over a whole baby basket for you.”
Hathaway responded: “I am so spoiled,” before the host then revealed: “They love you. And OG signed the card and said, ‘All my best, OG Anunoby’.
“That’s from, yeah, because we just knew, we knew you were going to come on, and they’re like, ‘Oh, yeah’, So this is all the love for you.”
The Knicks are now due to return to preseason action next week with a meeting against the Philadelphia 76ers.
The 76ers, of course, have a new-look team heading into 2026/27 after LeBron James signed over the summer.
